Technically this is day 2. I didn't do much exercise yesterday as I was rushing around doing other things and excuse, excuse, excuse. So anyways, this is day 2!
It's so stuffy and hot today and my boys and I have been out all morning doing this kind of thing:
So you would think I'd had enough exercise right? Wrong, I totally ate one and a half fruit scones with cream and jam!!! At least it wasn't the chocolate brownies though, so a positive, kinda, there.
When we got home we cooled down and then out came the 28 day bootcamp dvd! 22 sweaty minutes later and I'm DONE! :D Happy that I've done it cause I think I would have really hated on myself if I had left it out again. Now I am back on track as today was supposed to be a break day according to the dvd. No probs.
Thought of the day: It's ok to miss a day as long as it doesn't turn into a few days, a week, a month! Get back on track the very next day!
Memo to self: I need a starting point picture.

Welcome!
Hello,
Welcome to Settee 2 Set Go, a blog about a regular mum's attempt to get fit ready for the 5k Race for Life in October 2013!
A little bit of background: SO last year (2012) I decided that I was going to run the Race for Life on behalf of my dad (who passed away in 2010 from Leukaemia.) As I had missed that year's race I decided I would aim for 2013 instead...giving me longer to train and a better chance of actually making it! I went once a week to the track to run and train with my wonderful friend and I managed to drop a stone and manage 10 laps around the track before the nasty weather hit. Needless to say the motivation kinda took a hike to warmer climes leaving me in the cold, comfort eating pit. Fast forward almost 9 months and I've decided I actually better start getting myself back on track! Well...after a day like yesterday I need to do SOMETHING!!!
Yesterday: Yesterday went something like this: Grump grump grump, I'm so fat, grump, ugh, where's my motivation?, stomp stomp stomp, oh yeah I have chocolate cake in the house...
...and that was pretty much how it looked...minus the encouragement of the crowd. I didn't need encouragement.
THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW! I needed to change, and so the change was made with immediate effect, and the following is how I am planning to implement that change:
WISH ME LUCK!!!! CHEER ME ON!!! I CAN DO THIS THING!!!! BRING IT!!!!!!
